THIS EIFFEL TOWER BAG IS SOOO CARRIE BRADSHAW!

Isn't this Eiffel Tower Clutch totally unique? It's one of the many exquisite bags that Carrie Bradshaw steps out in style with in "Sex and The City: The Movie". According to my source (Shefinds.com), this clutch is predicted to be the must-have accessory once it gains exposure on the movie screens this weekend.

The clutch, designed by Timmy Woods, currently retails at Nordstrom for $415; however, more than 3,000 Swarovski crystals were added to the original Eiffel Tower design to create the Carrie-worthy, $2,500 Paris-themed showpiece.

I'm counting down the days to the movie... just a few more left!

IF YOU'RE ON A BUDGET, YOU CAN STILL FIND GREAT ACCESSORIES AT TARGET

If you're looking for accessories for Easter, after you step out of the candy aisle at Target you may want to head over to the fashion accessories department. Target's got some really great spring accessories this season!

The Loeffler Randall Clutch and matching Ballet Flats shown above are very classy-- it doesn't seem possible that both can be purchased for a little over $50.00.

With our economy being in the current state that it is, Target is looking better every day!

GORGEOUS HANDBAGS, JUST IN TIME FOR VALENTINE'S DAY!

I love this time of year. Love is in the air, the color red is present (my favorite!) and it's the perfect excuse for buying a new bag!

Check out these beautiful handbags and clutches that have arrived on the scene, just in time for Valentine's Day. So instead of hinting to your significant other that you could use another diamond bracelet or ring (although that's not a bad thing!), why not hint that you would like an adorable bag instead?

Let's be honest here-- the kind of bag you would want as a gift would probably not be one that you would be willing to pay for yourself! The styles shown below are timeless-- they will not go out of style!

This Leiber Minaudiere is definitely red carpet material!

This patent leather Valentino Clutch is both elegant and classy-- I love the vintage style!

What else can I say about this Leiber Clutch, except that it is just a beautiful, gorgeous work of art, a collector's edition. At a retail price of $4,495, this bag would be considered more as an investment than just an impulse buy!

These bags are all just "love"-ly!!!

SWAROVSKI CLUTCHES - THE ACCESSORY OF CHOICE AT THE SAG AWARDS!

Whenever there is a major award show, you will see more coverage about who wore the most fabulous gown than discussion about the awards show itself. Of course, the male nominees are totally overlooked! No one even pays attention to the purses-- at least not until now. Bags are now just as important as the gowns. Designers are pushing their accessory lines out front and center because they are realizing that their sales are coming from the accessories! Of course, someone like myself who designs handbags, always looks at the handbags first-- that is, if the ladies on the red carpet even decide to carry one.

So for those of us who dig handbags, I'm going to give you my opinion of who I felt held the title of best handbag designer at this past Sunday's SAG Awards: The winner: Daniel Swarovski!!!

Swarovski handbags are "eye candy" for sure-- truly decadent! These bags are absolutely beautiful, crystal-loaded beauties that provide the perfect finishing touch to any beautiful gown--they close the deal for the red carpet contestants!

Here are a few of the actresses who sported their Swarovski works of art at this year's SAG awards show (courtesy of People Magazine):

Vanessa Williams accessorized her gown with a black Swarovski and accessories-- Classy!

Jenna Fisher wore a very vibrant blue gown, and accessorized it with a silver Swarovski-- the perfect companion for this number!

Tina Fey sported a shorter-length gown with single shoulder strap. The silver and black Swarovski really works with this ensemble!

You can check out the complete line of Swarovski bags by clicking here!

HANDBAGS IN VIBRANT HUES WILL BE SHOWCASED IN SUMMER '08

Wondering what the summer handbag trends will look like this year?

Violet, turquoise, citron and melon will add new life to the summer season's essentials.

Here are a few of my personal favorites:

TARAH SMITH’s salmon patent-leather “The Yuppie” satchel ($165).

LOCKHEART’s “Color Theory” turquoise leather “Jolie Disco” bag with chain strap ($140).

LOCKHEART’s “Color Theory” leather “Large Frame Continental” clutch in light purple ($127).
TRACY REESE’s yellow leather hobo-shape handbag ($162).

I just love the colors-- I'm really feeling like being in the Bahamas right now!

STAINLESS STEEL ISN'T JUST FOR KITCHENS; IT ALSO MAKES GREAT PURSES

I have a whole new appreciation for stainless steel and aluminum!

Stainless steel appliances have grown in popularity in the kitchen. But what about stainless steel in your wardrobe? We found one trend, in stainless, and another in recycled aluminum, that you can throw over your shoulder and carry in high style. The artistic detail really works for me!

Nieja Bend has introduced the Opera Collection, a line of sophisticated handbags and clutch purses from designer Bo's Art Studio in Los Angeles. Each bag of woven stainless steel, features unique details, such as 24K gold plating, 23K gold leaf, copper, brass and even peacock feathers.

This stainless steel wallet, from the Stewart Stand Collection, is durable and resistant to corrosive materials, but to the touch, this material feels like silk. This wallet has a sleek look to it.

The Socorro shoulder bag by Escama, is hand-crocheted in Brazil and features more than 700 recycled aluminum pull-tabs. I love creating handmade items myself-- this bag truly has a uniqueness of its own.

Matching belts for these bags would be really nice-- just putting it out there!

COMING SOON FOR ALL FASHIONISTAS - "SEX AND THE CITY: THE MOVIE"!

Finally, finally, finally! The ladies from Sex and The City will soon be appearing on the big screen! I must say, they are all looking fabulous for this movie!

Let me tell you, watching this show became a regular date for my husband and I (although I'm sure we were watching the show for different reasons!). No matter what, we always made sure we were home on Sunday evenings in time to plop on the sofa, with popcorn and drinks in tow, and tune in to HBO to find out what the ladies were up to. The show was entertaining for so many reasons: there was so much humor, and the ladies were colorful and dimensional. Their lives seemed fast-paced, exciting and complex at the same time. Their "sexcapades" made the Desperate Housewives look like nuns!

What I loved most about the show were the trendy fashions that the ladies wore. "Carrie Bradshaw" became the epitome of fashion-- her clothing was very fashion-forward, and the color and pattern choices that you might not otherwise consider wearing somehow worked for her. The confidence that Carrie exerted as she strolled down the streets of New York City made it the "in-thing" to look unique. I had never heard of Manolo Blahnik before the show came into existence. And now, I don't know of anyone who hasn't heard of the famous shoe designer.

Here is a peek of some of Carrie's fashion looks:

This outfit is so Carrie Bradshaw! That huge flower would look hideous on anyone else, but she is workin' it!

I love this look! The long socks are cute and very flattering for this outfit. If you're not so crazy about your legs, buy yourself a pair of those socks!

Of course, we can't forget about the handbags!

Word is that the foldover clutch , like this one, is one of many gorgeous bags being used in this movie. As I mentioned in one of my earlier posts, it is one of my personal favorites!

Check out more pics taken on the movie set by clicking here.

This movie is long overdue-- I'm really looking forward to hanging out with the ladies again!

THE 2007 EMMYS: THE GOWNS WERE THERE, BUT SOME LEFT THE CLUTCHES BEHIND!

I won't even bother to talk about the Emmy Awards show-- after all, I'm not watching much prime-time TV these days. So let's talk fashion! There wasn't really anything unpredictable about what to expect on the red carpet-- there's always a few who really look stunning, and most are just ok. Let's get right to the stunning:

Everyone's buzzing about Katherine Heigl, who most agree won the "Best Dressed" title, wearing a Zac Posen gown and Mary Norton clutch.

This was my second favorite:
Minnie Driver looked amazing in this Donna Karan gown. Her figure really complements this dress. Wish I knew who the clutch was by-- great ensemble together!

And of course, Eva Longoria always brings it to the table!

Stylin' in a Kaufman Franco shorter length dress. Eva always looks very classy!

Of course, royalty was there:

Queen Latifah looks fabulous in this red gown-- don't know who made this gown, but this Covergirl aways shows up for the party!

Purple was the color of choice for Julia Louis-Dreyfus:

Julia looked regal in her Narcisco Rodriguez gown and Hochman Fuller clutch. What stood out more for me was the clutch that accessorized the gown. This photo doesn't do the clutch any justice, but I saw a close-up of it on television during the pre-awards show, and it was absolutely gorgeous!

If you're dressing up for a major event like the Emmy's, I believe that accessories are part of the total package-- especially a handbag or clutch. Some of the women were jeweled down, but the bag was missing!!! It almost looks like you forgot your bag when you don't have one!

Vanessa Williams looks beautiful (despite what others think) in this Kevan Hall gown, embellished with feathers. A small clutch would've finished off this look.

Even Heidi Klum wasn't wearing one-- although she was toting her man, Seal. Looks like Seal could've been carrying a man-bag in his hand, though.

Next time you need a bag, CALL ME!!!

IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO UPDATE YOUR WARDROBE, FOCUS ON THE ACCESSORIES!

It looks like the fashion trends of the '80's are back in again: Silver metallics, patent leather, and lots of bright colors! Personally, I love the latest trends. The '80's were a great period in my life.

On one particular day when I was in college, my girlfriend and I spent the entire afternoon digging in her closet, both on a mission to find the right outfits to wear to a party that evening. We both showed up at the party wearing two-piece shorts outfits, with fake patent leather stilletto-style pumps. The fashionistas had arrived!!! Clutch bags were my bag of choice back then. I remember carrying a taupe foldover clutch , similar to this one!Actually, not nearly as cute as this Donald Pliner Leopard Print Calf Foldover Clutch! Same style, though. All you need is a matching pair of pumps with this one, and it's on!

Having the fashion trends of the past come back into my life again brings back some really great memories!
